Painting & Drawing Workshop in
We will visit exhibition "Picasso Cézanne" at the Musee Granet and spend a week drawing, sketching, and painting in the beautiful old town of Aix-en-Provence. The Picasso/Cézanne exhibition includes paintings, drawings, watercolors, and sculptures. Picasso refereed to Cezanne as the “father figure” in painting, and the show traces the reflections and influence of the two painters. We will vist Cezanne's studio and follow his footsteps through the Aix. Dates: Saturday May 23rd to Saturday May 30th, 2009 (7 days/8 nights) Where: Hôtel Le Manoir, Old Town, Aix-en-Provence Cost: $1540 includes tuition, room and board, admission to museums and sites.
