Visits to Museums / Drawing & Sketching Excursions

 

Itinerary: Highlights include visits to the Museum of Modern Art for the Willem de Kooning retrospective, current and permanent exhibits at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Guggenheim Museum, Frick Collection, and New Museum, as well as local contemporary art galleries. Drawing & sketching excursions explore the dynamic public spaces and cityscapes of Manhattan.

Dates: Arrival Wednesday Jan. 4, 2012 - Departure Monday Jan. 9, 2012 (6 days/5 nights)

Accomodations: Renaissance New York Hotel 57 - located at 130 East 57th St., New York City

Cost:  $1897 - includes tuition, room & board, entrance fees to sites & museums, and local transportation (cost is based on double occupancy and does not include airfare.)
